Classical Guitar REG 2020 Limited Edition on sale at Savage Guitars in New York
This Limited Edition instrument was created on the occasion of the Rome Expo Guitar 2020. Unfortunately, given the international health situation, the event has been postponed to 2021. The guitar you see on this page still remains as a symbol of REG 2020. Even in these sad days our passion don’t stop. Thanks to the commitment of luthiers and especially of organizers, the Rome Expo Guitar goes on. See you in 2021.
This guitar is made with an italian spruce soundboard from Val di Fiemme and back and sides in a beautiful set of Madagascar Rosewood. The keyboard and the covers of the headstock are made of ebony. To make this instrument special, in addition to the use of precious and long-seasoned materials, are the aesthetic details. The fretboard features a thin maple fillet along the perimeter. The headstock has an ebony cover on both sides giving a touch of great elegance to the instrument.In the joint of the sides there is a geometrical inlay which recalls the essences of the woods used in the construction of the instrument. The tuners mounted on this guitar are made in Germany by Rubner. For this guitar I chised the Superior Series with pins mounted on ball bearings and self-lubricating "washers" to ensure maximum smoothness.
This guitar is available for purchase and is supplied with a black fiberglass case equipped with hygrometer and with a hole humidifier to keep optimal humidity level inside.
Concert Guitar from REG 2020 on sale at Siccas Guitar in Germany
This instrument, number 58, built in 2020, is based on a special model built for the Expo Roma 2020. Back and sides are made of beautiful chocolate brown Indian rosewood.

The aesthetics impress with their clear elegance and the sound character with a strong, rich tone. You can feel and hear the additional time and effort put in the building of this instrument. In contrast to his concert or studio model this Grand Concert model is built with a lattice bracing, but unlike typical lattice guitars, without the carbon fiber.
The result is a sound reminiscent of a traditionally built instrument, with a subtle augmentation of sound volume and projection. This is a fantastic guitar that is marvelously playable, has a surprising dynamic range, and delivers a smooth and versatile tone.
The finishing is French Polish.
