Custom instruments
Not a menu of pre-packaged options, but a project built around the hands, ears and needs of the person who will play it.
The heart of my work
Where tradition, personal research and construction precision meet.
Liuteria Marcellan classical guitars are built from selected materials, careful intonation control, attention to ergonomics and meticulous work on the instrument’s response. Every detail, from bracing to finish, is chosen around the musician.
Rich, clear and projecting sound; a bracing system refined over time, excellent balance across the fingerboard and a traditional shellac finish.
Warm, enveloping and already mature sound. Traditional design, understated aesthetics and a natural satin oil finish.
Scale length, nut width, neck profile, woods, bracing, rosette, bindings, tuners and finish are defined together.
Beyond classical
Made exclusively to order when the project genuinely calls for custom work. The goal is not to copy what already exists, but to solve precise requirements for sound, comfort, balance, electronics and aesthetics.
Body shape, scale, woods, dynamic response, cutaway, amplification and comfort designed around the repertoire.
Ergonomics, fret access, neck profile, bridge, pickups, wiring and weight distribution designed as one system.
Scale, string count, balance, spacing, electronics and neck response defined around the way you actually play.
Compact instruments, not simplified ones: projection, intonation, materials and aesthetics receive the same rigour.
Inlays, finishes, electronic configurations, hardware and non-standard solutions—when they make sense for the project.
Every instrument is built to order and followed directly by Andrea, from the first conversation to delivery.
The project can start anywhere
We define every detail together through video calls, photographs, measurements and precise references. Once the project is clear, I build and test the instrument in the workshop, then ship it directly to your address, carefully packed and fully set up.
The process
Real needs, technique and priorities.
Sound, ergonomics and budget find their balance.
Every part works with the others.
Testing, final setup and shipping.
